Welcome to the new service being launched in September 2009.

The new Recycling and Refuse Collection Service is designed to significantly reduce the amount of rubbish we send to landfill. The new service will collect a wide range of materials. Food waste will be collected weekly with recycling and refuse collected on alternating weeks.

The following bins and containers will be provided:

	Food waste (organics) Collected weekly Silver kitchen caddy for indoors Green container for collection by crews For the collection of all cooked and uncooked food, including bones and leftover dinners
	Recycling Collected fortnightly Green wheeled bin Large range of materials For the collection of recyclable materials including: paper, card, cartons, tins, plastic bottles, plastic packaging, glass and foil
	Refuse Collected fortnightly Grey wheeled bin For all non-recyclable items
